Sunil Thapa, Prominent Artist, epecially known for negetive role(villain). He was born on May 19, 1957 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He spent his childhood days in India. He studied at at Holy Name High School, Mumbai.
He started his career in 1981 from the Hindi-language movie Ek duje ke liye. He also started his Modeling career in 1974 in Bombay.
Not only in movie sector he too was professional football player played for ICL Club Bombay and Orkay’s Sports Club.
In 1974, he also worked as Photojournalist for JS Magazine. But later on he enter into the Nepali movie industry. In Nepali movie . He got married with Rajani Thapa. They had a daughter and a son. His son also got married with Shilpa.
He win almost each n every award of the industry, including the Motion Pictures award Nepal
Likewise in 1982 Aaj Ki Awaaz, 1989 Albela, 1992 Naseebwaala, 1989 Manu the Great Hindi. Later on he enter into Nepali movie industry.
In 1989 he also lead the role in Nepali movie Chino. The movie was super hit. It was run for 75 weeks i.e.525 days. After that his second movie was Thuldai 1997. In 2000, Aago . In Nepali movie he was specially known as Ratey kaila, Sher Singh Mama, Bun Dhadey. He worked in more than 100 movies.
