Indian embassy discusses Hulaki road with Madhes-based political parties

The Embassy of India on Saturday held discussions with Madhes-based political parties on the progress and problems surrounding the construction of the Postal Highway. The meeting dwelt on

how to complete the project soon so as to ease the difficulties facing Madhesi people for the failure to complete it timely, informed Chairman of Sanghiya Sadbhawana Party, Anil Jha. Also at the meeting, Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranajit Rae asked him how he has taken the registration of the constitution amendment and whether or it would address the demands of Tarai, Jha quoted Rae as saying. In response, he told Rae that things would take forward after revising the proposal as ‘it lacks clarity in terms of addressing demands of Madhesi people’. The meeting was also attended by
