Youths took out a motorcycle rally at headquarters Libang and an all-party corner meeting was also organised today against the split proposal. They have warned of continuing the protest until the amendment proposal was withdrawn.
Leaders speaking at the corner meeting said the decision to split the province was against the sentiment of the people. Locals were also riled with the political leaders who falsely assured of bringing development in the district which is also the epicenter of armed insurgency.
